Krondorf - King's Mantle Shiraz 2019

King’s Mantle Shiraz stands out as the star of the vintage. Crafted from 25-year-old vines in the Ebenezer Koonunga district of northern Barossa, this wine comes from hand-selected fruit grown in red earth sandy loam soils with touches of ironstone. Harvested in late March 2019, thirty percent of the fruit was left as whole bunches and cold-soaked before fermentation, adding layers of flavor and texture. After fermenting, it matured for 18 months in French oak barrels.
